Getting prepared for the April revalidation deadline

As we approach 1 April 2016, the deadline for the first group of nurses and midwives to submit their applications for revalidation, it’s great to see that the majority have already begun or completed their applications. What’s more, nearly a quarter of nurses and midwives who are not due to revalidate until May have also now started their applications. This is all good news and a welcome indication that revalidation is very much on track.

If you have an April 2016 revalidation date but have not yet started the application, one of your fellow nurses gave this great piece of advice: ‘Gather all the information required, know exactly what is being asked of you, talk to other colleagues and do not leave it to the last minute.’   Read full Article
